How our free estimates work

We price each job after we understand what it involves. That is why we do not publish fixed prices online: the same service can cost very different amounts depending on scope, materials and site conditions.

Permits and licensed trades

Some projects need a building permit, such as a legal basement apartment or a larger pergola. We tell you up front when a permit may be needed. Electrical panel and wiring changes, new plumbing lines and gas appliances must be done by licensed professionals; we refer those jobs rather than take them on.
